Top 10 Pages of November '10

November....month of exams, assignments, papers, reports and blah blah blah...This is one of those months when you say "College Sucks" at least ten times a day and you actually mean that. Even though I had a whole week off as thanksgiving holidays, preparations for finals were on full swing and I could not publish even a single post within that period. I love to write blogs, publish articles. But I know how difficult it was to avoid that to focus on study, temporarily.

Open Letter to CallToPBX

Dear CallToPBX people,

I guess, at least now you may notice my problems. I have been using your service for almost six months. For first three months, I didn't have that much problems. Not saying that I NEVER had any problems, but compared to your service in recent months, those problems were nothing.

Now let's start with the list :

ओबामाचा दिवाळसण

फार फार पूर्वी, म्हणजे माझ्या जन्माच्याही आधी, जेव्हा भारत स्वतंत्र झाला, तेव्हापासून एक देश म्हणून आपली जगाला आणि पर्यायाने अमेरिकेलाही पुरेशी ओळख अजूनही पुरेशी झालेली नाही असं मला कायम वाटतं. तीच गोष्ट, आपल्याबद्दलही म्हणता येईल, कि आपल्याला देखील अमेरिकेची, इथल्या एकूणच संस्कृतीची (आहे इकडे संस्कृती, कशीही का असेना) फारशी ओळख नाही. तसं म्हणायला, आपल्याकडे अमेरिकन सिनेमे पाहिले जातात, संगीत ऐकलं जातं. तरुणांचा एक मोठा वर्ग 'अमेरिकेला जायचं म्हणजे स्वर्गाला दोन बोटे कमी' या विचारसरणीने भरलेला आहे, त्यांनादेखील अमेरिका म्हणजे काहीतरी ग्रेट, निदान भारतात राहण्यापेक्षा तरी चांगलं असंच वाटत असतं. त्यापेक्षा जास्त ना त्यांना माहित असतं, ना जाणायची इच्छा असते. आणि आता तर चक्क अमेरिकेचा अध्यक्षच भारतभेटीवर आल्यामुळे, बऱ्याच जणांच्या अपेक्षा थेट America weds India च्या थाटात उंचावलेल्या दिसतायत.
